Six Figure Blogging - Insider Secrets to Building High Profit Blogs

Six Figure Blogging - Insider Secrets to Building High Profit Blogs

I'm always a little dubious about publications that promise a six figure income. Of course, there are bloggers achieving this, but it does take a monumental effort to reach six figures, and most bloggers never make it.

So will this guide help you to do so? Let's find out...

In the introduction of Six Figure Blogging - Insider Secrets to Building High Profit Blogs, the author explains how blogging does not have to be a complicated process, and that it is exceptionally easy to do.

Well, in reality, I'm afraid that it will never be an easy process, and many more blogs actually fail than succeed. Let me tell you that the number of abandoned blogs online is pretty massive. Indeed, it's something of a phenomenon.

However, despite the dubious comments in the introduction, the book is not a write-off, and if you apply the fundamentals outlined in this guide, you will have a better chance of being a success.

The guide is basically telling you to write exceptional content, add affiliate products, convert your visitors into email subscribers, and write a newsletter. This is actually solid advice, although not really "insider secrets", and following these principles will significantly increase your chances of running a successful blog.

The 5-step formula is actually a very handy chapter which you should make a note of, and these are the basic principles you should follow.

Now, although the author suggests promoting high-end products, rather than low-cost ones, the problem here is that for anyone starting out in blogging, they won't be able to afford to buy the products to scrutinise and review them. High-end products are very profitable, for sure, but they are also a lot harder to obtain sales from. Low-cost products are much easier to sell and review, and are ideal for new bloggers to promote.

Also, if you become an Amazon affiliate, the chances are that you will earn a commission from products that you are not even promoting on your blog, and some of these will be high-end. Remember, you earn a commission from everything that the customer orders, which is the beauty of Amazon.

For instance, if you promote a £100 barbecue on your site, how will you be able to write passionately about it if you have never seen it or used it? A better approach is to write about recipe ideas and the best utensils and accessories, until you can actually afford to buy and review barbecues.

The other problem I have here is that the author mentions that he outsources content to skilled writers. This I find wrong on every level. A blog is supposed to be personal and written by someone who is passionate about their subject matter, not paid to write. Your visitors visit your blog because they want to hear your honest views, not the views of a stranger who is being paid to write.

Always remember that you are not just creating a blog to make money. It will not succeed if you are not passionate and write your own compelling content.

Overall, there is some good, solid advice here, and if you follow the 5-step formula you will certainly have a better chance of succeeding. The asking price is low, and it would be a handy reference guide to follow. But the lack of comprehensive info is disappointing, and the "insider secrets" are just basic fundamentals.

I would also like to see a link to the author's own blog, to prove that he/she is actually as successful as the book's title suggests.

Blogging Made Easy by Amen Sharma, Rumena Begum

Available in paperback and Kindle edition formats, Blogging Made Easy is aimed at both newbies and established bloggers, and will help you attract more visitors and increase online exposure.

It begins with a bio and case study of one of the authors, Rumena Begum, a fashion and beauty blogger based in London. There is also a case study of Katie Corio, an online fitness coach living in San Diego, although she's not listed as an author.

Okay, so there is an incredible amount of information to digest in Blogging Made Easy. However, the chapters are rather inconsistent in their depth of detail, with some areas covered comprehensively, and others just skimmed over.

There are a number of problems, too, with the freebie links no longer working, and there are a few grammatical errors, which is unacceptable from a team that are supposed to be pro bloggers. An update is needed to remove the Google + section and broken links.

This is certainly a book that newbie bloggers will find very usefu…

Affiliate Marketing Ultimate Guide 2019 - The $10,000 per Month Foolproof Method

If you wish to earn money from your blog, then you should seriously consider affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing Ultimate Guide 2019 by Ronald Roberts is a very comprehensive guide on the subject, and when I say comprehensive, I mean it!

Many chapters are huge and packed to the rafters with advice. Not all of the advice I agree with, as you will find out, but there is certainly a lot of excellent information here to digest.

The author goes into great detail about what affiliate marketing actually is, discussing the main players, how to sign-up, and which networks you can join. However, it would have been useful to have been given links to the networks from within the ebook.

Some of the affiliate networks mentioned I would not recommend. For instance, JVzoo's products are mostly terrible, making pie in the sky promises which will leave your customers very dissatisfied - as I did - which is not good for your reputation. Clickbank's products are mostly pretty similar, in th…
