How to Make Money on Youtube with a Small Audience by Zyphyr Sword

How To Make Money on Youtube with a Small AudienceHow to Make Money on Youtube with a Small Audience ebook

The aim of How to Make Money with a Small Audience by Zyphyr Sword is pretty self-explanatory. Its aim is to help you construct a small Youtube channel and adapt if for making money, without a substantial number of subscribers.

It's a great shame that a book with such an eye-catching title (that promises so much!) fails to deliver in every aspect. While there's nothing wrong with the author's writing style (which is clear and to the point and grammatically almost perfect), there is simply not enough worthwhile information here to digest, and it feels like a magazine article rather than a book.

The bottom line is that you will find it very difficult to earn much money with a small audience, and you would be better spending your time learning how to build a big audience, than reading this pile of poop.

Mark's rating:

Pros
  • Clearly written
Cons
  • Very sparse
  • Fails to live up to its promising title
  • You won't make money with a small audience

Chapters

In the first chapter How Do You Create A Youtube Channel Capable of Creating Income, the author asks you to decide the type of account you want, and reveals why channel art is important, how to create a plan, and why Youtube SEO is important. Sadly, the information is very sparse and you will not learn a lot from this section.

So what about the methods for creating money?

Okay, so the methods described are Adsense, selling products to your audience, becoming an affiliate and combining these methods.

Now, have I missed something here? I can tell you from experience that there is no way on Earth that you are are going to earn much money with Adsense if you have a small audience. And as the author mentions "Views = money". Well, exactly, so why the heck are you listing Adsense?

Earning a decent amount from an ad network such as Adsense would require many tens of thousands of views, so you can kiss that idea goodbye for a start!

However, selling products or affiliate marketing could work if you have a highly targeted audience. Indeed, I earn a pretty decent income myself from my website Simplyeighties.com which specialises in products relating to the 1980s, more particularly fancy dress.

But the author doesn't give any details on how exactly to go about selling products. In fact, the information provided here is so sparse that you will still be wondering how to make money with your small Youtube channel after you've finished reading it!

Blogging Made Easy by Amen Sharma, Rumena Begum

Available in paperback and Kindle edition formats, Blogging Made Easy is aimed at both newbies and established bloggers, and will help you attract more visitors and increase online exposure.

It begins with a bio and case study of one of the authors, Rumena Begum, a fashion and beauty blogger based in London. There is also a case study of Katie Corio, an online fitness coach living in San Diego, although she's not listed as an author.

Okay, so there is an incredible amount of information to digest in Blogging Made Easy. However, the chapters are rather inconsistent in their depth of detail, with some areas covered comprehensively, and others just skimmed over.

There are a number of problems, too, with the freebie links no longer working, and there are a few grammatical errors, which is unacceptable from a team that are supposed to be pro bloggers. An update is needed to remove the Google + section and broken links.

This is certainly a book that newbie bloggers will find very usefu…

Affiliate Marketing Ultimate Guide 2019 - The $10,000 per Month Foolproof Method

If you wish to earn money from your blog, then you should seriously consider affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing Ultimate Guide 2019 by Ronald Roberts is a very comprehensive guide on the subject, and when I say comprehensive, I mean it!

Many chapters are huge and packed to the rafters with advice. Not all of the advice I agree with, as you will find out, but there is certainly a lot of excellent information here to digest.

The author goes into great detail about what affiliate marketing actually is, discussing the main players, how to sign-up, and which networks you can join. However, it would have been useful to have been given links to the networks from within the ebook.

Some of the affiliate networks mentioned I would not recommend. For instance, JVzoo's products are mostly terrible, making pie in the sky promises which will leave your customers very dissatisfied - as I did - which is not good for your reputation. Clickbank's products are mostly pretty similar, in th…
